E.ON Energie Romania has concluded 145 partnerships in recent months with companies and institutions from 24 counties and the city of Bucharest to build 14.4 MW of solar plants, said the company last week.
About 38,000 photovoltaic panels, which will produce over 18,000 MWh of electricity per year, will be installed as part of these partnerships. The projects will be completed by the end of this year.
The overall value of the contracts with the 145 partners is EUR 13 million, said E.ON Energie Romania.
“On-grid solar power plants with a power of between 33 and 100 kW will provide partners with renewable energy for their own consumption and the certification of prosumer quality will allow them to capitalise on surplus energy, which will be taken over by their suppliers at a regulated price,” said the company.
E.ON Energie Romania’s services are also available for households.
“We support companies, institutions and residential customers in Romania in becoming prosumers. We are here to offer them energy solutions adapted to their needs,” said the general manager of E.ON Energie Romania, Cătălin Iordache.
