The Trag foundation, which is a local foundation that instigates active participation among citizens in social changes in Serbia, has announced the Zelene ideje (Green Ideas) programme, the aim of which is to support united citizens in the development of green entrepreneurial ideas in Serbia. Through a public competition, the best three ideas will be awarded a cash price of USD 5,000 (EUR 4,458) each. The final call for applications is 20 March 2020.

“By green entrepreneurial ideas, we mean innovative ideas that apply the technology and knowledge of the business sector to organise and jointly solve social problems, relying on community resources and protecting the environment in the function of sustainable development," wrote the Trag foundation.

The programme is aimed at citizens' associations, foundations, endowments, cooperatives and companies that plan to become solidarity entrepreneurs or start-ups in solidarity.
