Maja Ropret

Maja graduated in Translation from the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana, Slovenia. As a freelance translator she works for multiple clients, specialising in energy, arts and humanities. Since her student years, she has also worked across various fields of arts management. She joined the Energetika.NET team in 2004 as a translator, and has since gained a good understanding of energy, environmental and energy-related economic and political issues, as well as extensive knowledge of the terminology, which grows with each new challenge. Maja is one of the two Slovenian translators of Sustainable Energy – Without the Hot Air, an influential book by British scientist Professor Sir David J.C. MacKay. She likes reading, running, travelling.
