Sofia-based daily Novinite has reported that Bulgaria was apparently left out in the talks, although the largest section of the Burgas-Alexandroupolis pipeline route runs across Bulgaria. In addition, it is not clear from the statements by Transneft representative Nikolai Tokarev, why Bulgaria has been excluded from negotiations on the formation of the respective consortium and neither is it clear how any changes to the Burgas-Alexandroupolis projects could be made without participation of the Bulgarian side, Novinite further reports.
