Interest for wind power plant construction on these sites was expressed by 15 companies at the beginning of November 2009; one of them was also Koncar-Obnovljivi izvori from Croatia. At the end, however, only three bids were received and Koncar’s was not among them.
At the Mozura area in Ulcinj a wind power plant with the installed power capacity of 46 MW is planned to be built and the installed power capacity of the one in Krnovo is to be 50 MW. The land will be leased for the period of 20 years. The right to participate in the tender was given to national and foreign companies and consortiums that have the experience in construction and utilization of wind power. In addition, their minimum average annual gross income in the last three years has to be 100 million euros.
