At the press conference held in Banja Luka Dodik said that it is first necessary to make a feasibility study on connection of Republika Srpska to the South Stream pipeline. When this is completed, all agreements will be officially signed. According to him, the capacity of the pipeline to be laid from Serbia to Bosnia will make up 1.5 billion cubic meters of gas per year, which is enough for Bosnia and Herzegovina’s needs. The length of the pipe that will link Republika Srpska to the South Stream pipeline will be 480 kilometres.PHOTO: iStockphoto
The South Stream gas pipeline will be laid across the Black Seabed from Russia to Bulgaria, from where its two branches will stretch out across the Balkan Peninsula to Italy and Austria.
