After his two-day visit in Montenegro Tonino Lamborghini said that at the beginning the factory in Montenegro would produce one thousand electric cars and that the production would increase later on. He added that there is a possibility to build the factory in a relatively short period of time and that the Government of Montenegro could accelerate the impulse of such production by using the electric vehicles for the police, at the airport, in postal services, tourism and in other service branches.
Lamborghini believes that the electric vehicles manufactured in Montenegro could also be sold on the European market.
However, people from the car industry are somewhat reserved and they express doubt that people would choose to buy such vehicles, especially since the Lamborghini make of a car means a rather high price.
The American Teslamobil which is being introduced at the Belgrade Car Fair and which offers excellent driving characteristics and is one of the best electric cars in the world, costs between 50 000 and 105 000 euros.
