Austrians interested in investing into the energy sector of Montenegro

Austrian investors are interested in the current projects in Montenegro, especially those from the area of energy, was reported by the Government of Montenegro.

As was reported after the meeting between the Minister for Economy Branko Vujović and the Ambassador of Austria Martin Pammer, the Austrians are interested in constructing small hydroelectric power plants. The government pointed out that based on the Memorandum of understanding on technological cooperation, which has been signed together with the Austrian Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology, a new working group has been established to carry out the feasibility study for the hydroelectric power plant Komarnica.PHOTO: Energetika.NET archive
The Ambassador Pammer stated that efforts are put into increasing the number of investors and businessmen in Montenegro. He announced that a series of meetings will be organised in the forthcoming period in which economic operators will exchange information, experience and ideas in direct communication about the future cooperation.
