According to Slobodan Puhalac, Republika Srpska is following Serbia with the activities which the latter has already conducted and which are related to the projects of hydro-potential utilization and relations with Italy.
In Gorizia Puhalac also attended a two-day international forum called “Development Scenarios in the Adriatic-Balkans Region” in the organization of the Italian region Friuli Venezia Giulia, which included thematic discussions on energy and transport.
The President of the Government of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik has recently visited Rome and said that they reached an agreement with the Italian colleagues on the joint construction of three hydropower plants on the river Drina. The Italians are planning to invest about 650 million euros in this project.
