The chronic electricity crisis that Albania has been suffering since 2000 offered to him a unique opportunity to cover energy issues from a regional perspective. He joined Energetika.net in September 2009. In 2008, he won a fellowship from the Robert Bosch and Erste foundations for a journalistic research on the electricity market in SEE. Gjergj is interested in the traditional energy industry. In his free time, he loves exploring the Balkans and hiking.
