Arbana Xharra

Arbana Xharra, who holds a bachelor's degree in journalism, is currently studying for master's degree in journalism, emphasis in academic writing, at the Kosovo Institute of Journalism and Communication. Xharra has been working as a journalist since March 2001, covering mostly economic issues and investigative cases. She has three times won the first prize in the journalism competition organised by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) and the Kosovo Anti-Corruption Agency, for reporting on corruption. Currently, she is the editor of the economy section at the Prishtina daily newspaper “Zeri”.
